A message to our left-leaning readership (if such persons even exist):
So, you decided to put some thought into politics! We at Right Wing Nation Salute you. With all the fervor surrounding America’s presidential election as of late there is a great deal to be considered: much to cogitate and ruminate.
Well, good for you!
The initiative it takes to become informed and better yourself through involvement in the political process should never be disparaged or discouraged.
But now you need to please do yourself a favor: calm down.
Put down your Spiced Pumpkin Latte, remove your thick-framed glasses and give your eyes a much needed rub. Take off that ghastly pork pie hat and relax for a second. Let some cool wind clear your head. But most importantly: close off every social media page on your phone this instant.
Just… close them. It’s time to just take a second, breathe and do a little reading.
While much of America seems to be running around burning everything bearing the stars and stripes, putting themselves in suicide watch ‘safe zones’ and committing random acts of violence towards their neighbours, you as an individual need to remove yourself from the rampant self-embarrassment. And the first step towards doing this is to put the social media away.
Sure, you didn’t want Trump to win, I get that. Quite frankly, that’s fair. But to be perfectly blunt, throwing a temper tantrum like a three year old does nothing to advance your agenda. Frankly, all it does is justify what Trump himself has said all along. Rather, let’s get informed and strive to gain some perspective on the current, Facebook-spawned, national hatred of ‘The Donald’. Let’s have a look at Trump, what he’s been accused of, and examine if there is any substance to the allegations. Donald trump, the Hater, The Racist, The Misogynist…
Part I: The Hater
Republicans are historically not fans of the LGBTQ movement, this much is generally accepted universally. However, Trump, being an atypical member of the party, has repeatedly made himself unpopular with the majority of the Republican Party as a supporter of homosexual rights. Trump looked shocked, almost taken aback when, at the Republican National Convention he received applause and cheers upon stating:
“As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect LGBTQ citizens”.
One of Trump’s most elegant criticisms of Clinton concerned her habit of accepting money from countries whose human rights records and treatment of homosexuals is pitiful or downright shameful. The hypocrisy of the left is most tangibly self-evident when, on one hand, they profess to champion the rights of women and gays while, on the other hand, they walk in lockstep with people dedicated wholly to the resistance and elimination of these very groups. One cannot support an ideological stance dedicated to the destruction of a minority group while living in peace with the victims.
“Clinton wants to allow radical Islamic terrorists to pour into our country—they enslave women and murder gays. I don’t want them in our country.” – Trump
Trump has furthermore called for an ‘ideological screening test’ for all American immigrants. In his foreign policy address he made it clear that he wishes to ensure that the values of those new to the U.S.A. do not pose a threat to women or homosexuals . His is a policy oriented to protect those most at risk; it proposes preemptive action in an attempt to end individual tragedy before it strikes. How can a man whose professed policies focus on the protection of women and gays hate women and homosexuals?
To be fair, Trump does not support same-sex marriage, citing that he is a traditionalist, that he is unwilling to go after religious institutions to force them to accept homosexuals. He’s also steering clear of adding new bathrooms or assigning new ‘genders’ to the official list. But all things considered, it is my opinion that Trump is far more liberal and progressive than most of the Republican alternatives that could have run in his place. This is precisely why many groups, like ‘Gays for Trump‘, are applauding the Trump victory, garnering befuddled, enraged and confused looks from less informed homosexual advocates. “This is a liberation of unprecedented heights” read a recent article entitled ‘Gay Trump Supporters Speak Out After The Election’
Part II: The Racist
During the election, it became abundantly clear that the democrats primary tactic was vilify and demonize Trump with incendiary accusations of racism.
And yet Trump’s opinion has been always very clear regarding undocumented or illegal immigrants. To want to have a policy — any policy — on criminals who come to his country and remain there illegally is completely sound, and, quite frankly, the responsibility of a national leader. It certainly doesn’t make him racist.
African-American businessman Bruce Level headed the National Diversity Coalition for Trump in an attempt to dispel rumors of Trump’s alleged ‘racism’. The coalition included many notable people including: Omarosa Manigault, graduate of Trump’s reality television show “The Apprentice”, Pastor Darrell Scott, a Cleveland minister whose plan to announce the endorsements of more than 100 black clergy members for Trump exploded following outrage from other black religious leaders, and, finally, Dahlys Hamilton (a woman no less!) the chairman of Hispanic Patriots for Trump. In addition to these few were a great many other Asian Americans, Turkish Americans, American Indians, Sikh Americans and Muslim Americans, all of whom vehemently rejected the accusations of racism being leveled against Trump.
Their main argument is basically that the news media and their army of left-leaning Trump haters have intentionally taken his comments out of context and selectively reinterpreted or distorted comments made at his rallies.
Lynne Patton, an African American woman who works as an executive for Donald Trump was even compelled to do a video to reach out to America regarding the ridiculousness of the allegations. She stated, “as a black female executive at the Trump organization, I can no longer remain silent about the repeated and reprehensible attempts to ally my boss with racist hate mongering groups campaigns and messaging.” And her video, called The Trump Family That I Know, is certainly well worth viewing. [4A]
Furthermore, Trump has long been known to hire more minority and female executives as his contemporaries, and he’s been doing long before it was ‘cool’. Trump worked with the Rainbow-PUSH coalition to bring blacks and minorities into corporate America. The fact that he has been slandered with the outrageous label of ‘racist’ is nothing short of a farce. It tarnishes the reputation of a man who has tirelessly worked for equality before it was commonplace in the United States. The allegation should embarrass the socialists who utter it, and Clinton supporters ought to be ashamed.
Even outside of business, Trump has time and again showed genuine compassion towards minority groups and ethnic individuals. Examples could include:
• Donating $25,000 to a mostly black women’s basketball league after the founder was killed in the 9/11 attack.
• Fighting racism at his private club Mar-a-Lago when it was criticized for its open door policy.
• Giving $10,000 to a black bus driver who gained worldwide fame after rescuing a “suicidal” woman from a Freeway Bridge.
• Transporting a critically ill Jewish boy in his private jet from California to New York for medical treatment. The child was refused access to an airplane because he was in a wheelchair and undergoing chemotherapy. Upon hearing of the boarding problems, Trump cancelled all of his meetings and flew the boy himself.
The list is lengthy and by no means complete. But it may surprise you to make mention of another name, a person seldom discussed when examining Trump’s racist stances. That is, Trump’s own spokesperson Katrina Pierson, a black woman.
Part III: The Misogynist
“I have great respect for women, nobody has more respect for women than I do”
Trump to CNN’s Anderson Cooper
Sure, Trump’s crass, he’s boorish, he says what he thinks… and sometimes he doesn’t give a lot of forethought to what he thinks. But a little bit of machismo trash talk doesn’t exactly translate to an equivocation of ‘misogyny’, or, as the media constantly imply, outright hatred of women.
In reality, Trump is a far cry from anything resembling a misogynist. If anything, Trump is a misanthropist whose comments have been selectively scrutinized and spun by his left-wing rivals in order to reinvent and tarnish public perception of him. And his rivals have been exceptionally efficient at it.
Examples are almost too numerous to count, but here are a few: The man is extremely close with his daughter and has been excoriated by his republican colleagues for admitting that he understands and supports the Planned Parenthood women’s health mission. This mission openly states, in TEXAS of all places, that it assists millions of women per annum , positing that the legalities surrounding clinical abortion should remain unchanged.
“You can say whatever you want, but they have millions of women going through Planned Parenthood who are helped greatly” -Trump
Without citing too heavily Trump’s words from assorted interviews and clips, these few standing points alone place Trump leagues ahead of his Republican counterparts, progressively and morally.
Sexual misconduct and indecency are terrible things indeed. The only behaviour worse is lying about one’s past sexual transgressions. Many women have come forward with allegations that Trump has acted in an indecent way towards them, and those accusations should certainly be taken seriously. But let’s be honest here: many, if not all of the accusations that have been leveled against Trump have been outrageously over the top, originating from highly spurious sources, and ultimately are hardly credible. The remaining few are either incidents that were tainted by the time period in which they occurred or are only mildly inappropriate at best. Let’s face it, Donald Trump at his absolute worst was and is still no Bill Clinton.
Take for example, and I’ll be fair, the unconfirmed (but probable) claims made by Summer Zervos, that are currently being investigated. This Ex-Apprentice loser allages that Donald Trump sexually assaulted her. But upon closer inspection, it has come to light that Zervos was allegedly paid $500,000 by lawyer Gloria Allred to fabricate the whole story. Allred is a Hillary Clinton supporter and a DNC Associate.
Or Rachel Crooks who accused Trump of “kissing her on the mouth” when she first met him. Crooks is now currently under fire from friends and members of her own family that are of the opinion that her story simply does not add up and are voicing their doubts via social media.
That being said, lets get informed and take a look the complete list of his alleged crimes and their respective severity. Keep in mind that some of these occurrences date back 30 years; a very different time and a very different Trump. Also, it is important to note that Trump is presently pursuing legal action against many of his accusers civilly, for which the liberal media has painted him being as a scoundrel and a villain. But ask yourself seriously, who among us would not attempt to uphold the truth and defend himself in the face of false accusations and personal dishonour?
Here is the complete and up-to-date list of victims and alleged offenses:
• Ninni Laaksonen (Miss Finland) – Offence: Grabbed buttox
• Jessica Drake (Porn Star) – Offence: Grabbed and kissed, quipped “How Much?”
• Karena Virginia (Yoga Instructor) – Grabbed arm, brushing breast
• Cathy Heller (Homemaker) – Offence: Attempted kissing
• Summer Zervos (Failure T.V. Show Contestant) – Offence: Kissed and groped; motioned lewdly, thrusting his genitals (under investigation due to claims of bribery)
• Jessica Leeds (Unknown) – Offence: Groped on an airplane (later retracted by the New York Times after Trump openly countered the allegation and threatened to sue)
• Rachel Crooks (Trump Tower Staff) – Offence: Kissed cheek and mouth
• Mindy McGillivray (Friend of Trump Photographer) – Offence: Poked buttox with “hand”
• Natasha Stoynoff (Journalist) – Offence: Pinned to the wall and french kissed
• Jennifer Murphy (T.V. Show Contestant) – Offence: Kissed on the lips
• Cassandra Searles (Miss Washington 2013) – Offence: Grabbed buttox & sexual advances
• Temple Taggart McDowell (Miss Utah) – Offence: Kissed on the lips
• Jill Harth (American Dream Calendar Girls Employee) – Offence: Groped under a table
Sexual assault is a serious matter and not something to treat lightly, but few would deny the tameness of the allegations on this list. The grievances listed above seem beyond mild; they read like complaints from a new girlfriend upon introduction to ol’ Grandpa at a family Christmas gathering. It is important to recall that Trump is old school. This man is the very epitome of a playboy millionaire, a modern major general forged by the patriarchal society that was the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Trump was and is in every way a product of a cultural zeitgeist, a fact that does not so much excuse his behaviour as typify it.
Another ‘victim’ who must be included on the list of Trump’s sexual escapades would most definitely be his ex-wife, Ivana Trump, who has alleged spousal rape. But if we examine the accuser for a moment, Ivana, a clearly disgruntled ex-wife, is a woman who undoubtedly carries a great deal of personal baggage and sour grapes. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Spousal rape is a severe criminal offence, but Ivana Trump is notorious for her vindictive feelings towards her ex-husband which should, at the very least, leave room for a healthy skepticism when considering her words.
And last but not least is the horrifying tale of the statutory rape of a 13 year old girl that occurred 20 years ago. This merits repeating: twenty years. This was the accusation that made headlines and the transgression that has been on the lips of democrat supporters and Trump opponents since the infancy of Clinton’s campaign. The allegation consists of a very convoluted lawsuit that was filed in California in May but then dismissed, then re-filed in New York in June, but then once more dropped in November. The earliest record of this crime, interestingly, was posted by the ‘Winning Democrats’ website, a satirical left- wing forum.
The case was apparently dismissed in California when it was discovered that the address listed on court documents was in fact a repossessed home left vacant since the death of its occupant (this being strangely reminiscent of past instances of deceased people voting liberal.) The second lawsuit, a hollow reinvention of the first, was filed in New York and unveiled by a private blog called ‘The Gothamist’. Funny how today CNN, MSNBC and even the BBC have become such mediocre and ineffectual news agencies that they can quite often be scooped by liberal ‘blogs’.
Online rumors began to swirl, hinting that the accuser was poised to have a press conference sometime in late October or early November, but this never came to pass. The accuser has still yet to come forward. Incredibly, in the end it would appear that the whole drama seems to have stemmed from a random voicemail left at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas. It would almost be comical if the alleged incident hadn’t been so horribly blown out of proportion.
I find it extremely difficult to believe that this allegation has any veracity whatsoever. After witnessing the liberal celebrities frantically tweeting about ‘rape’ and sexual assault for weeks, and then taking into account Clinton’s maniacal ability to mine for intrigue, one would expect that if any kernel of reality existed in this dog and pony act that Clinton would have kept this girl within arms length at all times… with a secret service escort.
Ironically, amidst the storm of accusations against Trump, it appears that Clinton supporters and the corrupt liberal media are completely willing to overlook Hillary Clinton’s personal history and misdeeds. A splendid example of sexual misconduct and domestic abuse, Hillary is herself in every way a hypocrite. Let us recall that Clinton has often been accused of targeting, threatening and smearing numerous women found to been sexually assaulted by her husband, as well as those he carried out consensual affairs with.
At the end of the day, Trump, despite his ‘locker room talk‘, has an all but ignored record of philogyny. He’s long been known to promote equality, both through equal pay and opportunity, within his business empire. Trump rewards his employees based upon performance and quality, in many instances paying his female employees more than the male staff based on personal merit. For example, Barbara Res, at 33 years old, became the first woman to ever be put in charge of supervising the construction of a skyscraper, when Donald Trump hired her in 1980.
Even 20 years ago Trump filled his inner circle with women, earning himself a reputation as a fair, unbiased employer with high expectations and an eye for capable staff. 1989’s ‘Savvy Woman‘ featured a photo of trump bearing the caption“Trump’s Top Women”. The subhead read: “Surprise! Mr. Macho’s Inner Circle Isn’t An All-Boys’ Club.” “Trump: a champion of women? His female employees think so”, reads a Washington Post article from November, 2015.
I’m certain that by now most, if not all left-leaning readership by has long since checked out. Most have likely flagged and failed after the first couple of paragraphs. Nonetheless, with all of the facts laid out on display, I’m sure most would agree that it is difficult to condemn Donald Trump as racist, a hater or a misogynist. Although intemperate in his youth, he hardly qualifies for the disparaging labels he has been given at the hands of the Democrats.
So the Question remains: how did the most progressive and left-leaning Republican nominee become the most despised and censured man in the liberal universe? The answer is simple. The media was bought and paid for by international interests to churn out nothing but insults, slanders and lies regarding Trump and his supporters. The persons and corporations bent on the creation of a new world order and another term of Obama-esque tyranny attempted to buy an election… and failed.
But in the end, by the grace of God, Hillary’s incredibly expensive attempt to influence, pressure and and scare voters to her cause succeeded only in the deepest recesses of millennial-spawned ‘safe zones’ and on the hard drives of fanatical social justice warriors. One has to laugh at the staggeringly well-funded yet myopic Democrat campaign that featured countless Hillary ads in response to the the non-existent attack ads by Trump. In reality, the only advertising Trump seemed to do was merely to show up, loud, strong and proud. No behind-the-scenes underhanded dealing or conniving Machiavellian plots. Just plain old Donald wearing a Pompadover and power suit.
And in the end, the liberals and socialists have been lied to. They bought into and swallowed the rhetoric and the drama and followed it up with a nice helping of hatred, fear mongering and hypocrisy perfected by modern day social activists. Only days after the election I have seen more horrendous things posted on social media by angry leftists than anything Trump has or will ever say, even as his words are being spun by the degenerate media. Posting messages like ‘Kill Trump Supporters’ and ‘Rape Trump’s Wife’ amidst burning American flags, calls for assassination and violence, countless faked hate crimes and endless unfriending on social media says less about the atrocities of Trump than the liberals who have become what they claimed to hate most.
And all because of: THE MOST PROGRESSIVE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT ELECT TO DATE.
